Artistic Savvy

Our Artists...
	Leslie Monzel Leslie started drawing purple horses in kindergarten and has been channeling her creativity and love for the arts in one way or another ever since. Major influences include Gustav Klimt, Madonna, Ireland, sparkly things, Will Ferrell, and Tractor Supply. Her style has been defined as "Texas eclectic" and "funky country" and is always evolving. She started face painting in high school and joined Artistic Savvy in 2008 so she could come home from work covered in glitter and paint...and love it! She also makes fantastic guacamole.
	Melissa Acosta Origionally from Southern California, Melissa recently relocated her family to Texas in search of a better place to raise her children. They landed in Burleson and love it so much that they don't ever plan to leave! Melissa sold her first painting at 16 and thought "That was fun! I should be an artist..." She especially likes doing children's murals, and most of her inspiration comes from her own 3 children. In 2007 she founded Artistic Savvy in the hopes of finding a group of like minded people to collaborate with and inspire eachother. She loves her job and wouldn't trade it for anything!
